Blacktop Mourning’s Max Steger explained to me that the band’s name meant longing for childhood’s simplicity. I tried to represent this the best way I could in a minimalist fashion. Of course, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t put a dark twist on it.
This album layout was printed as a 6 panel digipak with a 2 color disc.
The band and I continued and expanded this visual direction in their followup record No Regret.
